A skilled worker route, a spouse route, a visit and a study route each answer to their own rules, their own evidence and their own Home Office guidance — and a file built for the wrong one is usually refused on its own terms rather than corrected.

- Proof of accommodation in the UK for the length of the stay
- Any certificates, references or English-language evidence the route requires
- Certified translations of anything not already in English

Which route should I apply under?
That depends entirely on your circumstances, and it is worth getting right before anything else starts — a file prepared for the wrong route is usually refused on its own terms. We confirm the correct route first.
How long does a UK visa decision take?
It varies by route and by how the application is filed, and the Home Office publishes its own current expectation. We tell you the timescale that applies to your route before you commit to any travel or start dates.
Can I switch routes once I'm in the UK?
Sometimes, but not always, and the rules on switching are specific to each route pairing. We confirm whether switching is possible for your situation before you rely on it.
What happens if my application is refused?
We review the refusal reasons with you and advise honestly on whether an appeal, administrative review or fresh application is the right next step — and where immigration advice is needed beyond that, it is given through our IAA-registered solicitor partner firms.
